After lodging an ASIC form in CAS 360, a failed lodgement may occur if ASIC rejects the submission. You can review the failure and take action using the steps below.
Use the following methods to identify and resolve a failed lodgement:
1. Check the Documents Screen
| From the Main Toolbar, go to Documents |
- Locate the form that was lodged.
- Check the Status column:
- LODGEMENT REJECTED - The form was not accepted by ASIC and requires correction.
To review the reason for the failure:
- Click the three dots beside the document
- Select Attachments
- Open the VALID_PR file
- This report outlines the validation errors returned by ASIC
Use the details in the validation report to correct the related information. Then lodge the Company Change again through CAS 360.
2. Notifications
- CAS 360 will also generate a rejection notification if a lodgement fails, including details of the rejection where available
- Select Validation to display the EDGE Validation Report. This will explain why the Form was rejected.
Next Steps After a Failed Lodgement
- Review the validation errors carefully before making changes
- Reprepare the change with the correct information
- Lodge the related form/s once all issues have been resolved
- If errors persist, contact ASIC or your administrator for further assistance
