ASIC's Specification
Agent not authorised by form 362 to access this company
Cause
ASIC does not acknowledge the lodging party as the Registered agent for the company. It may be that ASIC has not yet processed the form 362.
Form(s) Affected
- All electronic Forms
Suggestion
Lodge a Form RA61 Request Review Date Report to check if you are the registered agent for the company.
If you are lodging a form soon after lodging the form 362, it may simply be a timing issue while ASIC records are being updated.
If ASIC happens to be having issues with their online services or the EDGE Mailboxes, ASIC can sometimes take a longer period of time to process and recognise that you are the Registered Agent for a company (Even though the Form 362 has already been accepted),
In this case, you can try the lodgement again at a later stage. Lodgements for the company will then usually work within an hour or so, or by the next morning at the latest.
Each morning an automatic debt report request that is sent by CAS 360 for all companies. If the company is no longer a client, the company can be deactivated from the company selection screen in order to stop CAS 360 from lodging this request. See Deleting Companies in CAS 360.
