Details
We have identified a lodgment issue when preparing a contact address change for two officers, and where the two officers are also joint members of the company.
In this particular circumstance, the joint member address is correctly lodged with ASIC, however, one of the address changes for the officers is being incorrectly transmitted as the old address via the ELS file.
This is an internal error within CAS 360 and we have advised ASIC of the issue. Please refer to the below section for details on how to identify affected officers and steps for resolution.
If you have been affected by this issue, BGL will reach out to you and identify the lodgement affected.
Affected Period
Form 484s prepared as per the above circumstance, between August and November 2021, lodged via CAS 360.
Solution
Step 1:
Lodge an RA71 to compare the company data. This will help you identify the affected officers.
For more information on how to complete this, click here.
Step 2:
Once you have identified the affected officers, you are ready to proceed to prepare ASIC Form 492, to inform ASIC of corrections to previously lodged forms.
For more information on how to complete this, click here.
On form 492, please identify the error, the officer affected and what their address should be.
It is important that when you prepare Form 492 that the following text be added:
"Advising that on this lodgement the old Officers address was incorrectly added to the lodgement by BGL CAS360. These changes need to be updated to the correct address"
The lodgement of Form 492 will ensure that the changes you lodged, will remain lodged and that the incorrect addresses will be corrected on the ASIC register.
