What is EDGE?
EDGE is an electronic system developed by ASIC for large volume lodgers, such as accountants or legal firms. This system is used to connect Software providers, such as CAS 360, to be able to lodge and receive documents from ASIC.
In order for Registered Agents to lodge documents in CAS 360, they must sign up for Edge Credentials
Note: The ASIC EDGE details required for CAS 360 are different from the ASIC Registered Agent Portal details.
For CAS 360, the required ASIC EDGE User ID is usually a letter followed by 5 numbers. Eg A12345
If your firm is moving from a competitor software, the same EDGE details can be used to transfer to CAS 360.
How to Join EDGE
If you'd like to register for EDGE access, please refer to the ASIC Website:
ASIC will process your details and register your application. Once complete, ASIC will send you:
- your registered agent number, and
- your EDGE identification and password
Your EDGE ID and Password can then be entered when setting up your CAS 360
See Setup CAS 360 for more information.
