When clicking on Send All from the Document Production screen, the following error message displays:

Digital signing merge fields were not found on the following document template(s).

Solution

You will need to edit the template(s) listed in the message and insert the following text code in the location where the signature needs to be displayed.

${digitalSignature}

The text code will need to be in the same colour as the background (e.g. white).

Example:

Navigate to Settings| Document Templates.

1. Download and open the customised template.

2. Locate where the signature should display and paste ${digitalSignature} in signature location.

3. Switch the colour to white.

It is recommended to leave the font size as standard. You can use any font size between 1-28, however, the font size will not have an effect on the size of the digital signature. The size of the signature that displays on the signed document will be based on the default size of the digital signing provider.

4. Save the template and upload it in Document Template.

You should then be able to send this document from the Document Preparation screen.
