CAS 360 has two separate annual review alerts. They track different things and are cleared in different ways, so it's important to know which one you're looking at before trying to clear it.
Quick check
If the company is listed under Annual Reviews in Attention or Date Passed because the annual review has not been received, this is the Annual Review Alert. Paying the ASIC fee or clicking Complete Annual Review will not remove it.
Annual Review Alert
What it tracks: Whether CAS 360 has received the company's annual review (ASIC Form 480) by the Annual Review Date entered in the company's General Details screen.
When it appears: If no annual review is received by that date, the company appears under Annual Reviews as requiring attention, and moves to Date Passed once the date has passed.
How to clear it: Update the Annual Review Date. This is needed when the annual review has already been completed, paid, or received by paper, or will not be received electronically.
- From the Main Toolbar, go to Company.
- Select the company from the list.
- Select General Details.
- Under Company Dates, change the Annual Review Date to the date the annual review was processed this year, or to next year's date.
- Click Save.
Complete Annual Review won't clear this alert
Paying the ASIC fee or clicking Complete Annual Review does not remove a company from Date Passed. Those actions clear the Annual Review Deadline Alert, which is a different alert.

Annual Review Deadline Alert
What it tracks: Whether your client has signed the annual review documents and paid the annual review fee by the due date.
When it appears: Only if Track the annual review via the document deadline alert was toggled on in the Document Production screen when preparing the annual review documents. It shows the fee as due within 30 days, due in 14–8 days, due in 7–1 days, due today, or late.
How to clear it: This alert does not clear automatically when the fee is paid. Open the company's Document Deadline Alert and click Complete Annual Review.
Using Digital Signing?
The Deadline Alert can clear automatically. Before sending the documents from the Document Production screen, toggle on Mark Annual Review as Completed once all documents have been signed? under Electronic Signing Options.
