Use this article if a company is showing under Annual Reviews in Attention or Date Passed and you want to remove it, for example because the annual review has already been completed, lodged, or paid.
What causes the Annual Review Alert?
CAS 360 may display the alert when:
- No annual review has been received for the company, or
- An RA71 Trace Report appears because ASIC rejected an RA71 request.
The Annual Review Alert is based on the Annual Review Date entered in the company's General Details screen.
CAS 360 compares this date with the annual review (ASIC Form 480) received from ASIC. If no annual review is received by that date, the alert shows in red to tell you action is required, and the company moves to Date Passed.
When CAS 360 receives the annual review documents electronically, the Annual Review Date updates automatically. If the documents are sent by paper to the company's Registered Office Address, or won't be received at all, you need to update the Annual Review Date manually.
Complete Annual Review won't clear this alert
Paying the ASIC fee or clicking Complete Annual Review does not remove a company from Date Passed. Those actions clear the Annual Review Deadline Alert, which is a different alert. See Annual Review Alert vs Annual Review Deadline Alert: which one am I seeing?
How to clear the alert
Use these steps if you know the annual review has been completed and lodged with ASIC or paid, but the company still shows as "no annual review received", is in Date Passed, or shows that the RA71 was rejected.
| From the Main Toolbar, go to Company. | |
| Select the company from the list. | |
| Select General Details. |
Under Company Dates, change the Annual Review Date to the date the annual review was processed this year, or to next year's date.
Click Save. The company is removed from Date Passed.
Tip
To turn off the alert completely, for example for special purpose companies, set the Annual Review Date far in the future (e.g. 2099).
Still need the annual review?
If the annual review hasn't been received and you still need it, see Annual Reviews have not come into CAS 360.
