Details
If shares in a company are partly-paid, the shareholder is liable to pay calls on the shares in accordance with the terms on which the shares are on issue. Any changes to the amounts paid on shares must be notified within 28 days of the change on the Form 484 Change to Company Details. Public companies only notify changes to amounts paid on shares, top 20 shareholders or beneficial owner in response to the Annual Review.
In this scenario, you will need to:
- record the allotment of the partly paid shares; and
- record a call on shares and prepare the documents to change the amount paid on shares.
