Overview
When preparing a Form 484 in CAS 360, users select which parties will receive the document for signing.
In some cases, a director may only receive a review document instead of a signing request. This is usually due to how the signatories were selected during form preparation or the director’s eligibility at that time.
Why did the director only receive a review document?
A director will only receive a review document when they were not selected as a signatory during the Form preparation process.
Only selected signatories will receive the signing request.
When selecting signatories, CAS 360 will only allow directors who meet the following conditions:
- The director must be formally appointed before the transaction date of the Form 484
- The director’s Meeting Status must be set to “Attendee”
Directors who do not meet these requirements may not be available for selection as signatories when the form is created.
How do I fix this?
If the wrong signatories were selected:
- You will need to create a new Form 484
- Select the correct directors as signatories during the preparation step
- Confirm the following before sending:
- The director's appointment date is before the transaction date
- Meeting Status is set to Attendee
- Correct signatories are selected in the form workflow
