Query
When preparing an address change for a person/contact/shareholder/Officer, I receive the following error:
Current and new address cannot be the same
Solution
The error is due to address selected in the new address field is already set as the person/contact/shareholder/Officer's Address in CAS 360.
If users want to reprepare an address change form for the address, first the current address will need to be deleted.
From the Main Toolbar, go to Contacts. |

- Locate the Contact from the list and click the Contact Name to edit the contact.

In the Address section, click and select History
- Beside the address, click to remove the address
- Click
Once the current address is deleted, users will now be able to prepare the address change
