When preparing company changes, I receive the following error message:
Missing address line 1 field
Solution
This error occurs when the Address Line 1 in the address attached to a Contact involved in the company change screen is blank.
The issue is caused when the Contact information is imported from ASIC. There are at times formatting issues on ASIC's end and limitations on the ASIC EDGE system in processing it.
To resolve the error:
From the Main Toolbar, Select Contacts | |
From the Contact Screen, select the Global Addresses tab |
- Locate the Contact's Address from the Global Addresses screen
- Click on the address to edit
- Ensure the Address line 1 is filled in
