How to link a Company from the Company Selection screen to a Contact

Overview

In CAS 360, companies and contacts are part of a global database. This means you do not need to re-enter company details to use an existing company as a contact (for example, as a shareholder in another company).

Instead, you can link an existing company to a contact record, allowing it to be reused across multiple companies.

If you're asking:

• “Can I make a company a contact without entering the details again?”
• “Can I reuse an existing company as a shareholder in another company?”

Yes, you can do this by linking the company to a contact.

Solution

From the Main Toolbar, go to Contacts.

1. Locate the Contact from the list and click the Contact Name to edit the contact.
2. Click and select Linked Company
3. In the Link Company field type to select a company from the Company Selection screen.
