Change of Address for this effective date already exists

When trying to prepare the Business, Registered Office or Contact Address change documents, I receive the following error:

Change of Address for this effective date already exists

Solution

This message is caused by another address under the Company's Business, Registered Office or Contact address having the same effective date as the one entered for the address change.

Company's Business or Registered Office address 

From the Main Toolbar, go to Company.
Select the Company from the list.
Select Addresses

Click  beside the affected address field to view and correct the address's effective date.
