How do I add a Foreign Resident?
Solution
A Foreign Resident will typically have a foreign residential address. The address will need to be created in the CAS 360 Global Addresses screen.
CAS will support international addresses entered in against a contact in CAS 360.
The foreign address can be created in CAS 360 by either:
- Adding the address through the Global Addresses screen
- Creating the address while adding the contact
Global Address screen
Navigate to Contacts:
Click Add Address:
While adding contact
When adding a contact, in the Address field, begin typing the Address. CAS 360 will search the global address database for the Address. If the Address has not been previously added to the Global addresses screen, Click to add a new address.
Adding the address
When adding the international address please ensure that the following fields are used:
- Country
- Address Line 1
- City/State
The system does not require any information in the following fields and these should be left blank;
- Postcode
Note: The State and Postcode fields should not be used when adding in a Foreign Address, as these details are not picked up in the files sent to ASIC upon lodgement.
