Query
We keep getting the below notification each morning saying downloads have been rejected for a company we are no longer the Registered Agent for. Why are we getting these notifications?
Solution
CAS 360 is designed to automatically lodge an RA63 each morning to verify that the debt has been paid with ASIC.
ASIC will then indicate to CAS 360 that a company no longer has debt via an RA68.
However, if you are no longer the registered agent for a company, the company will need to be deactivated in CAS 360 to stop the software from checking with ASIC if there are any outstanding debts for that company.
To deactivate a company, see: Deleting and restoring companies.
Once done, you should no longer receive these rejected RA63 notifications as of the next day onward.
CAS 360 is also designed to automatically lodge an RA71 Re-issue annual statement when it detects that a company has not received an annual review.
However, the RA71 can be made electronically, provided:
- the original Annual Statement was dispatched within the last 2 months and,
- The original Annual Statement was dispatched to the same agent making the reprint request and,
- the original Annual Statement was dispatched electronically.
If any of the above criteria have not been met, the RA71 Re-Issue Company Statement will not work.
