Overview
The Deactivated Companies screen gives you the ability to both view which companies are contributing to your company limit, and to deactivate or restore deactivated companies.
Companies that have been deactivated can always be restored whenever the company is needed again. Restoring a deactivated company will also restore the company documents for that company.
Please note that you will be unable to remove companies from your subscription limit using this screen.
As per the BGL Subscription Agreement, both:
- Activated companies; and
- Deactivated companies
count towards your company limit subscription.
This guide will cover:
- How to view which deactivated companies are counting towards your CAS 360 subscription
- When a deactivated company will stop counting towards your CAS 360 subscription
- How to deactivate a company in CAS 360
- How to restore a deactivated company

Navigate to the Deactivated Companies screen
From the Main Toolbar, go to Company. |

For companies that are included in your subscription, hover the cursor over the Company's Deactivated date to view for how long they will count towards your subscription
By default, all deactivated companies that are contributing towards your licence (green icon) will be listed before companies that are not contributing to your licence (red icon)
Removing deactivated companies from your company limit
Periodically, BGL will remove deactivated companies from your subscription.
To view a break down of when company spaces will become available:
Navigate to the Deactivated Companies screen

This will show you how many company spaces will become available after each year.
The deactivated company policy is the same for monthly and annual subscribers.
Companies that have been deactivated within the subscription period will only count until the anniversary of the subscription period.
Once this anniversary has passed the counter will be reset back to 0.
