Changes to officeholders must be notified to ASIC within 28 days on a Form 484 Change to Company Details ( Or the Notifications of change to directors of a registered body Form 490 for Companies with the Company Type of Foreign or Registrable Body set in the General Details screen)
The Multiple Changes feature in CAS 360 allows to appoint and cease officers for multiple companies.
|From the Main Toolbar, go to Multiple.|
Select Officer Change.
The Officer Change screen will display.
Begin typing the officer's name.
For appointments, if the contact has not been previously added to the Global Contact screen,will display. Click to add a new contact.
|Position||Select the officer's position: Director, Secretary|
|Position Status||Select the new applicable status.|
|Resolution Date||Input the date of the change.|
|Select to proceed to the following screen where you can select the companies.|
|Select to cancel the change.|
Selectthe company(s) for which to process the changes.
|You can look for a specific by typing the name in the search box.|
|Select to prepare the forms.|
The Multiple Changes screen will display will a list of the companies and the changes.
|If you wish to modify the Date of change, click on the date and input the new date. Click on the Tick icon to confirm the change or click on the Cross to abort any change.|
|Select Options | Edit to make any changes.|
Select to go the Document Production screen to download or send the required form and documents for this change.
Once you have downloaded or sent the documents for the first company, you will be taken back to the Mulitple Changes screen to prepare the form and documents for the other company(s).
While form 484 is used to resign or remove an officer, form 370 is used by the officer themselves to resign themselves.
If needed, in Document Production, simply toggle this Form.
Once the form is toggled on the Form 370 - Settings panel will appear from the side. You will need to select which officers are ceasing on the from 370.
