What causes the Annual Review Alert?
CAS 360 may display alerts when:
- No annual review has been received for the company, or
- An RA71 Trace Report appears due to a rejected RA71 request from ASIC.
The Annual Review Alert is based on the annual review date entered in the general details screen for the company.
CAS 360 compares this date with the actual annual review (ASIC Form 480) received from ASIC. If no annual review is received by that date, the alert will be shown in red to advise action is required.
When the annual review documents are received by CAS360, the annual review date will be automatically updated in the general details screen.
If the annual review documents are not sent electronically and are sent by paper to the company's Registered Office Address or will simply not be received for the company, users will need to update the annual review date manually.
If you have already completed the Annual Review for this year
If you know the Annual Review has been completed and lodge with ASIC, but the alert still shows “no annual review received” or mentions the RA71 was rejected:
| From the Main Toolbar, go to Company. | |
| Select the Company from the list. | |
| Select General Details |
Under Company Dates, change the Annual Review Date to the date the annual review was actually processed this year or to next year.
Tip: If you wish to turn off the alert completely for special purpose or similar companies, you can also set the Annual Review Date into the far future (e.g., year 2099).
