RA72 Beneficial Owner

Query

We have a problem where Beneficial Owners are not displaying the owners when shares are held non beneficially held? It shows RA72 beneficial owner.

Solution

ASIC does not keep the information of beneficial owners' names. After downloading data from ASIC, users will need to manually update the beneficial owners to the shareholdings.

From the Main Toolbar, go to Company.
Select the Company from the list.
Select Shareholders

1. Beside the Shareholder, click .

2. Select Edit.

   Note: If you are unable to edit the existing shareholding or the Beneficial Owner field, check if View Current Shareholding is toggled on. When View Current Shareholding is enabled, CAS 360 displays the current shareholding as read-only and editing options will not be available. 

   Ensure the toggle is set to Off to make changes.

   

3. In the Beneficial Owner field, clear the RA72 Beneficial Owner. To clear the Beneficial Owner, click into the Beneficial Owner field and click the BACKSPACE icon on your keyboard. Once the Beneficial Owner is cleared, begin entering the correct Beneficial Owner details.
4. Make any necessary changes and click Save.
