Query
When migrating a company from CAS desktop to CAS 360, the migration fails and I receive the following message:
Exception: Could not import company details - (could not find agent for: )
Solution
This message may occur if either:
- No Department has been attached to a Company
- No Agent has been attached to a Department; or
- Missing Agent Details
Attach a Department to a Company
To resolve in CAS Desktop from the Ribbon Toolbar select:
Select Company Data | Other Data | Client, CAS Data. Ensure a Department has been selected.
Attach an Agent to a Department
To resolve in CAS Desktop from the Ribbon Toolbar select:
Select Administration | Master List Maintenance | Departments. Edit the department. Ensure an Agent/Presenter has been selected.
Enter Agent details
To resolve in CAS Desktop from the Ribbon Toolbar select:
Select Administation | Agent/Presenter and edit the Agent. Ensure all Details have been entered correctly
