Query
When trying to save a previous company name, I receive the message:
The added effective date is after the effective date of current company name.
or
The effective date already exists.
Solution
The message will appear when the effective date entered for the previous company name is dated after the effective date of the current company name.
The effective date of the Current company name can be edited.
From the Main Toolbar, go to Company. | |
Select the Company from the list. | |
Select Addresses |
Click beside the current Company Name.
Select Edit and change the effective date and click .
You will now be able to add the previous company name.
