When processing a Shareholder/Unitholder transaction, I receive the error message:Solution
Member/unitholder changes are required to be dated after the member originally acquired the shares.
Example John was allotted 10 Shares. John transfers 5 shares to Mary. Logically the Allotment must occur first before the transfer If the error is occurring, either:

This is common when data is imported from ASIC to CAS 360.
When Shareholders are imported, shareholding dates are entered as either the import date of the Company data or the Company Registration date.
This is due to ASIC not retaining shareholder dates on their database.
The Shareholders will also be entered as Balance type transactions.
In the shareholders screen, beside the shareholders, click and select Change to Allotment.
