After you lodge a form (e.g., Form 362) or any ASIC form in CAS 360, you can confirm whether it was successfully submitted to ASIC.
You can confirm its successful submission using the following methods:
1. Check the Documents Screen
| From the Main Toolbar, go to Documents |
- Locate the form you lodged.
- Look at the Status column:
- Lodged - Your form has been successfully submitted to ASIC.
- Awaiting ASIC Validation / Pending - Your form is still being processed. Status will update automatically once ASIC completes validation.
To confirm ASIC accepted the form:
- Click the three dots beside the document
- Select Attachments and view the VALID_PR file if it is there
- This file contains the validation report showing whether ASIC accepted the form.
2. Notifications
- CAS 360 will generate a confirmation notification once the form has been successfully lodged.
Annual Review Documents (Form 480) May Not Appear Immediately
- The absence of annual review documents (e.g., if the annual review hasn’t been received yet) doesn’t mean Form 362 wasn’t lodged; it may be due to ASIC issuance timing or agent status.
- If Form 362 was lodged after the annual review date, CAS 360 may not receive annual review documents automatically from ASIC even if Form 362 was successfully lodged. In this case:
- Use Form RA71 - Request Electronic Data Download to request the annual review.
- Otherwise, contact ASIC directly to obtain annual review documents.
