Sometimes you need to prepare a Supplementary Form 492 (to correct an ASIC-lodged form) or Form 902 (ASIC-initiated correction) in CAS 360, but there is no existing document in the system that automatically populates the DOCIMAGE number. This guide shows you how to prepare the form and manually locate the DOCIMAGE number.
What Is a DOCIMAGE Number?
The DOCIMAGE number is ASIC’s reference identifier for lodged documents. It is assigned when a form is received and retained in ASIC’s electronic database. CAS 360 uses this number to link corrections (Form 492/902) back to the original ASIC lodgement.
| From the Main Toolbar, go to Documents | ![]() |
Locate the document for which a correction is needed.
Click Options at the top of the Documents screen to prepare a form 492/902 for documents that have not been lodged in CAS 360.
| Field | Explanation |

|
| DOCIMAGE No | The DOCIMAGE system is ASIC's database which contains all documents received by ASIC which are scanned and retained in an electronic form. Documents lodged with ASIC are then given a DOCIMAGE Number. If a document is lodged with CAS 360, this number will be automatically saved in the Documents screen. |
| Date | The date of the initial form that was lodged with incorrect details. |
| Is this form in response to an ASIC requisition? |

Find the DOCIMAGE (ASIC Document) Number
If CAS 360 cannot provide the DOCIMAGE number, you can retrieve it directly from ASIC’s records:
Log in or navigate to ASIC Connect:
https://connectonline.asic.gov.auUnder Search within, select Organisations & Business Names.
Search using the Company name or ACN.
In the company record, scroll to the Documents list.
Find the relevant form (e.g., Form 201, 484, etc.) and note the Document Number.
This is the ASIC DOCIMAGE number you’ll use.
