When appointing a director, is it a prerequisite to also include the director's former name?
Solution
Notifying ASIC of any former legal names is a requirement.
In document production, you can toggle whether or not the director's previous name will be included in the form.
You will find this option after clicking beside the Form 484 - Change to Company Details
The previous name option will be toggled on by default. And can be set as the default by selecting the star.
Recording previous names into CAS 360
To insert the former name, from the main toolbar navigate to CONTACTS.
Search and edit on the Contact.
From the Name tile select history, enter any previous names.
Select Save
