Request for Electronic Data Download - Form RA71
This form can be used to:
- Request an electronic data download of company details which then can be loaded into CAS 360.
- Request a reissue of the Annual Statement.
- Request a Company Statement.

Instructions
ASIC Agent must have been previously appointed by lodging the Form 362 prior to lodging a Form RA71.

.The RA71 will now be lodged with ASIC. Once the lodgement is complete, users will receive a notification to confirm the lodgement.
Import or Compare an Electronic Data Download
The Electronic Data received from ASIC, after lodging the RA71 - Data Download can be imported into or compared with the CAS 360 data.

Besides the company click,
Selecting Import from ASIC will overwrite the existing data for the selected company and replace the information with the data from the ASIC Electronic Data.
Users will have the ability to select the ASIC data to be imported.
Toggle
beside the data type.Users can choose particular company data to be imported including:
- General Details
- Shareholders
- Officeholders
- Addresses
- Ultimate holding company
Click
If any historical information was entered for the selected company, importing an Electronic Data Download will cause this historical information to be lost from CAS 360.
Important Information When the company data has been imported, ensure to update the dates for the shareholders. Importing Shareholders will allow users to enter the balance date of the shares at either the import date of the RA71 or the Company Registration date. This is due to ASIC not retaining shareholder dates on their database. The Shareholders will also be entered as Balance type transactions. In the shareholders screen, beside the shareholders, click and select Change to Allotment. To change the transaction dates for shareholders, see How to Update/Change Shareholder Dates for more information. |
Compare with ASIC
Selecting Compare with ASIC will display the CAS 360 comparison report.
The CAS 360 comparison report will display any differences between the information from ASIC and the company information entered into CAS 360
Data Automatically added to CAS 360
The following information from the electronic data download (RA72) will be automatically entered into your CAS 360 database:
- Company Type
- Company Class
- Company Sub Class
- Incorporation Date
- Registered Office Address
- Business Office Address
- Ultimate Holding Company (if applicable)
- Current Directors' and Secretaries
- Current Members' Balances
Review the following data received once uploaded into CAS 360
It is important that you review the data received from ASIC for completeness and correctness.
- Adding previous names
- Input principal activity
- Add address where registers are kept
- Add tax data
- Add company charges
- Update trust information
- Update the transaction date for all shareholding
- Input the beneficial owners (if applicable)
- Input any historical company data that you wish to keep in CAS 360
CAS Desktop Users
A CMY import is not available in CAS 360 to import a new company it is recommended to process an RA71.
