Overview
Need to find the ASIC DOCIMAGE number for a lodged form? This article explains how to locate it either in CAS 360 or through ASIC Connect.
What Is a DOCIMAGE Number?
The DOCIMAGE number is ASIC’s reference identifier for lodged documents. It is assigned when a form is received and retained in ASIC’s electronic database. CAS 360 uses this number to link corrections (Form 492/902) back to the original ASIC lodgement.
Find the DOCIMAGE Number in CAS 360
- Navigate to the Documents screen.
- Locate the lodged document you require. Tip: Use the search bar or filters to help find the form faster.
- Select the Actions icon beside the document.
- Select Edit.
- The ASIC DOCIMAGE Number will appear in the Edit Document Details window.
Find the DOCIMAGE Number Through ASIC Connect
If CAS 360 cannot provide the DOCIMAGE number or if the form was lodged outside of CAS 360, you can retrieve it directly from ASIC’s records:
Log in or navigate to ASIC Connect:
https://connectonline.asic.gov.auUnder Search within, select Organisations & Business Names.
Search using the Company name or ACN.
In the company record, scroll to the Documents list.
Find the relevant form (e.g., Form 201, 484, etc.) and note the Document Number.
This is the ASIC DOCIMAGE number you’ll use.
