Overview
Freeform Documents enables CAS360 users to create and store their own custom documents and templates. Additionally allows users to prepare documents that are usually outside of the CAS360 workflows.

Document Style | Explanation |

Minutes and Resolutions |
Selecting the following; Directors, Members, Trustees, Unitholders Selecting these different Document Types will change the format of the Template as well as changing the signatories of the document. For Example, selecting Directors will make the signatories the Directors of the company. |
Letters |
Selecting the following; Company, Contacts, Trust Selecting the different entity types will create a letter that will be addressed to the entity type selected. |
Freeform Documents |
Selecting the following; Company, Contacts, Trust Selecting these options will make the template available for the following entity types |
3. Jurisdiction Select the relevant Jurisdiction of the Template.
Content
Users are able to enter in the text of the document that is being created.
The Content section tool bar provides users the ability to customise the colour, font, and format much like in Word.
Users are able to use the CAS360 Dictionary Codes to quickly and easily prefill information as needed
For example, selecting Minutes and Resolutions as the Document style will prepare the layout in Minutes/Resolution format for either Directors, Members, Members, Trustees Unitholders.
As shown below if the Document Style is Minutes and Resolution the written text in the Content section will appear in ($FFDCS).
If Document Style is Freeform Document - the users are given a blank page to create their own document.
Any text added to the content section will appear in the document along with the formatting added. Users are able to add logos/Images using the toolbar in the content section as well.
If you require to align/format the image further, users will have to utilise the full-screen option in the toolbar.
Preview
This screen will display a preview of the template being created.
If the template is linked to multiple jurisdictions, users are able to change the jurisdiction using the drop-down menu. Users are able to select and change the document layout using the Document Layout drop-down. Once reviewed either Press to save the Template and prepare the documents later.

After selecting Save & Proceed the system will ask you to apply the document to the selected category. Once desired entities are selected Press
The Documents will now be attached to the relevant entity on the Freeform Document page.
Once the document has been added to the Freeform Documents tab, users are able to add more documents by selecting Freeform Document+ and creating more documents.
To prepare the documents, Press on "Prepare Forms" which will take the user to the Document Production screen.
In the Document Production screen will display the Freeform documents created and users are able to utilise all the CAS360 options to Email, Digitally Sign or Download the documents.
1. Select , then select Prepare Freeform Document.
2. Details
Select a previously created Freeform Template by searching for the Name of the template.
Once the template has been selected, the Document Style, Document Type and Jurisdiction will be automatically prefilled.
3. Content
The Text Box will populate with the text written when the Template was created, Users may edit this text without overwriting the context of the template.
If preparing a Minutes or Resolutions Freeform Document the content header can be added or edited based on the user's preference.
4. Preview
A Preview of the document will be shown, with the capability to Download and print the Template, Select the Jurisdiction As well as the Document Layout.
You are able to change the Document Layout if desired to change from the default, to do so another Document Layout must first be uploaded through the Freeform Template Screen.
Once reviewed either Press to save the Document and prepare the documents later.

To prepare the documents, Press on Prepare Forms which will take the user to the Document Production screen.
In the Document Production screen will display the Freeform documents created and users are able to utilise all the CAS360 options to Email, Digitally Sign or Download the documents.

Documents |
Selecting a Document Set will only feature the Templates and Documents created under the selected Document Set. The following are the different Document Sets

Document Layouts will display the default layout for each document type.
Each Document Layout is a Word Document that can be easily customised further if necessary.
Users are able to have as many customised document layouts for each document type.
To edit the Document layout, go to Freeform Templates, select the Document Type you wish to change and locate the Default layout.
Press on and Download the default Layout.
Customise the word layout as you wish. Rename the document and save.
Press and select the cusotmised document and upload the new layout.
If you wish to mark this document as the default layout for this document type- select Options and select as Default.
Users are able to view and change the document layout in the Preview step of the Freeform Document workflow.
System Templates
The Freeform Templates tab will also include a few predefined templates that can be used. These will have the label System Template. System templates cannot be deleted, however, users are able to edit and customise them further if they wish. A list of system templates available is listed below:
