Introducing Automated Company Debt Reminders
The time for an automated, set, and forget ASIC debt management has arrived. CAS 360 can now automatically remind your clients of their outstanding debts to ASIC.
These reminders will help ensure your clients are on top of any outstanding ASIC fees that are owed and give them the ability to process fee payments with the easy-to-use link included within the reminder. CAS 360's Automated Company Debt reminder gives you total control over:
- When reminders are sent - You can select the time frame when you want the reminders to be sent out
- Templates - You are also able to select which template you would like to use for sending the reminders
- Send To - You are able to control who the reminders are sent to. Whether that be the billing contact attached to the company and/or the company directors.
- Including the Invoice - You are able to easily select whether or not the ASIC invoice is also attached to the Debt reminder that your clients receive.
How does this work?
In the settings menu, Automated Reminders has been added. This feature needs to be activated by your firm before it starts sending reminders.
From the Main Toolbar, go to Settings |
|
Select Automated Reminders |
|
At the top of the Automated Reminders screen, you will see the following:
Simply toggle this option to activate your Automated Company Debt reminders.
CAS 360 will now ask you the following:
Automatically send every |
Choose to have the Debt reminder to be sent automatically every 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 14 or 21 days. The reminder will be sent each morning after CAS 360 automatically checks all your company debts for you. |
Only send automated reminders after RA68 - Company Debt Report has been received for that day? |
CAS 360 will automatically lodge a Form RA67 each morning for every agent. This will check all outstanding debt for all of the companies your firm is agent for. Companies with any outstanding debt will activate the company debt alert. Where there is an outstanding debt for a company, an RA68 will be received. In this case, users may choose to only send automated debt reminders after an RA68 is received. |
Sender | Select a user who has access to your CAS 360. This user will be who the email reminders are addressed from. Also, if your clients reply to the email reminders their replies will be addressed to this user's email address. |
Email Template | Select an email template from your customised templates. See How to edit/change an email template for more information. |
Attach Invoice | Select whether an invoice will be attached to the email reminder. You will also have the choice to pick between the ASIC invoice (original invoice) or the CAS invoice (Copy of the invoice that can be customised from the Document Templates screen) |
Send to | Select if the reminder will be sent to the company's Billing Contact, Company Directors, or both. |
Select Labels |
Apply the Automated Debt Reminder to companies attached to chosen labels. |
Click .
Your Automated Company Debt Reminders are now active. Your clients will now receive debt reminders as per your specified time frame.
Also, don't be worried about your clients being bombarded with debt reminders. CAS 360 will know not to send a reminder to your clients who do not have any outstanding debt.
Note: Automated Debt reminders will not be sent if the annual review has not been processed.
For the Automated Debt reminder to activate, the Annual Review document status for the company should be "PROCESSED".
In addition to this, automated debt reminders will not activate for Annual Reviews sent for review. Once the document review has been completed, the automated debt reminders will activate.
Managing Reminders
We have also implemented an Automation report that will be shown to users who have the automated reminders activated.
If you have set up automated reminders, and no email address has been provided for the contacts in that company, you will be notified that an email could not be sent from CAS 360.
For more information, see Automation Report.
