Where is the location of the Corporate Key recordered in CAS?

  The Corporate Key is recorded in the General Details screen, within the Company Details section. You’ll find it displayed next to the ACN.

  What if the field is empty? Can we obtain the corporate key on behalf of a client?

  Hello Cassandra, thanks for reaching out!

  If the corporate key field is blank, first check if you already have the original Company Statement on file for the client. The corporate key is located on the first page, top right corner of the original statement. Note: reprinted or reissued statements typically don't display the corporate key.

  If you don't have the original statement, you'll need to request a replacement key directly from ASIC (see below), provided you're already set up as their registered ASIC agent in CAS 360.

  Already the registered agent?
  You can lodge Form RA71 - Request Electronic Data Download in CAS 360 to request a copy of the company data or a reissued statement from ASIC. Keep in mind the corporate key may not appear on this reissued copy. If it's missing, you'll need to go down the replacement key route below.

  Corporate key still not found?
  The officeholder, registered agent, or external administrator needs to request a replacement corporate key directly from ASIC.

  Note: a new key cancels any old ones, and it always goes to the registered office address on file.
