When a new company is added into CAS 360 through one of our integration partners (for example, by importing company data from an external system), you may wonder whether you still need to import the company from ASIC after lodging a Form 362.
Short Answer
No
You do not need to import from ASIC again, provided the company details in CAS 360 match the records held by ASIC.
Importing from ASIC again will override the existing information in CAS 360 with the data currently held by ASIC.
Therefore, an additional import is only recommended if you need to correct or update the CAS record to match ASIC.
How to Confirm the Data Matches
Before deciding to import again, you can run an RA71 Comparison Report to compare the CAS 360 record with ASIC: Comparison Reports. How do I compare company information between CAS 360 with ASIC?
