Important Update
BGL Practice Management Integration (Version 1) will not be supported after 31 July 2023. Switch to the new and improved BGL Practice Management Integration (Version 2) before 31 July 2023 to ensure data synchronisation. Refer to the below help file for instructions on switching to Version 2.
Practice Manager Version 2 (PMv2) can now be enabled for firms that previously had Practice Manager Version 1 (PMv1) enabled.
Before we can proceed, you will need to disconnect your existing PMv1 connection.
Navigate to the App Switcher and Select Integrations. | |
Select Digital Signing from the top toolbar. |
There will be at least two products that will need to be disconnected:
Step 1: Select Practice Management from the sub-toolbar.
Step 2: Click on the gear icon for the Practice Management you are currently using (e.g. Xero Practice Manager).
Step 3: Click on the Disconnect button for the Practice Management integration.
Step 4: Click Save.
Step 1: Select BGL Apps from the sub-toolbar.
Step 2: Click on the gear icon for the BGL Product you are currently using (e.g. CAS 360).
Step 3: Toggle OFF Contacts
Step 4: Click Save.
Repeat this process for any other connected BGL App (CAS 360 or Simple Fund 360).
Once the above have been completed, you can proceed with connecting Practice Management Version 2. See the instructions below:
- Integration with Xero Practice Manager (XPM) (The prerequisites is an optional step and you can begin implementing the integration starting at the ‘Authenticate BGL to Access XPM’ heading.)
