Joint Shareholdings when one is company and one is individual
I have created a joint entity, where one is a company and one is an individual. When the paperwork is produced, on the 'Register of Members' it is showing the shareholding as belonging to the two representatives, (Paul and John) and not the company and the individual (company name and John). The rest of the paperwork is correct, showing the shares held by (Company name & John), including the share certificates, minutes, etc. I'm wondering why the register of members is showing the incorrect name and how I might be able to fix it?

Hi Julie
When you create a joint shareholding (e.g. between a company and an individual), the Register of Members pulls the names from the representatives listed under the joint member contact.
So if the register is showing “Paul and John” instead of “Company Name & John,” it likely means Paul and John are set as the representatives of the joint member.
You can follow the steps in this help article on editing representatives of a joint member if you wish to change the representatives for a joint member.
