Form 484 - Change to Officer's Address
I lodged a Form 484 changing the officer address of one of our clients. Instead of the street number being shown as number 161 Male Street Brighton, ASIC has lodged it as 157-161 Male Street Brighton. So the comparison report for the annual review shows this error.
I know this can be corrected with a Form 92 lodgement, but I don't want to bother the client with this as he is 92 years old and suffering health complications at the moment that require frequent hospitalisation. Is it possible to change the street number to reflect what was lodged with ASIC. Or is it OK to leave as 157-161?

Hi Cait,
In your case, there are several options you can take:
- Not updating the address (so that both CAS and ASIC don’t match up) - This does run the risk of a future document being rejected due to an automated validation check if you do lodge something.
- Updating the ASIC database - This will require you to lodge a form 492 as you have mentioned.
- Lastly, Editing the address in CAS 360 - will not require you to lodge any forms (so nothing will need to be signed).
- To edit a company address: https://support.cas360.com/hc/en-au/articles/360023233171-How-to-edit-an-existing-Address
- To edit a person’s address: https://support.cas360.com/hc/en-au/articles/360013141532-How-to-Edit-a-Contact-s-Address
Ultimately it is up to you whether you change this on your CAS 360 database or the ASIC database (or don’t update anything at all)
Hope this helps!
